Brief: To present the BVAC Classic as the prestigious and quality event that it is, Bright Light Marketing identified branding as a priority and saw it as an opportunity to raise awareness of the event.

The new name and brand was applied consistently across all print, signage, advertising and it was integral within the new website design.

As well as carrying out themed press launches, Bright Light Marketing carried out press activity in the run up to the event and post event too. An exclusive VIP Readers Competition was also successfully carried out with the local press. The team were responsible for delivering consumer marketing campaigns for the event, targeted photo shoots and all promotional aspects.

‘The best classic car festival in Scotland’ – The Sunday Times.

The first weekend in June heralds the arrival of the BVAC Classic at Thirlestane each year. With more than 1200 vintage and classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes and around 6,000 visitors making the journey to Lauder, this is undoubtedly one of the biggest and best classic car rallies in the whole country.

BVAC took the decision in 2018 to change the name of the event to the BVAC Classic at Thirlestane with the accompanying strapline of Festival of Motoring.
