This is a great time of year to shine a light on some of the lovely businesses and people we have met with recently.
As the first new facility to make rush seated chairs to open in 54 years, The Marchmont Workshop is run by highly skilled craftworkers Sam Cooper and Richard Platt.
Inspired by the designs of Ernest Gimson and the Arts and Crafts Movement, the duo create exquisite chairs and tables at their workshop in the grounds of Marchmont House, Greenlaw. They also offer courses in rush seating too.
